Shipping Policy
Dealer Auto Parts ships from our warehouse in Detroit, Michigan to anywhere in the USA. We are a Ford Authorized Distributor with access to the full line of Ford's OEM catalog, including Ford's Motorcraft light maintenance and repair line. Our warehouse stocks around 50,000 Motorcraft SKU's with complete access to any Ford Vendor and Depot around in the US. We are also available for local pickup in the Detroit area.
Delivery and Lead Times
Most orders on our site are shipped within 1-3 business days due to lead time from the manufacturer. Many parts outside of our direct stock take 1-3 business days to arrive to us and are promptly shipped to you. Certain parts such as vendor stocked accessories may take up to 7-10 business days to arrive to us and will be shipped to you immediately. Depending upon location, standard ground shipments usually take 2-7 days, and expedited shipments usually take 2-3 days. Some items may be on national backorder and or obsolete. If this is the case, we will reach out to you and cancel your order at no charge. Reach out to us directly regarding overnight shipping or stock inquiry.

- All delivery dates shown on our website are estimates.
- Shipping/delivery time estimates are contingent upon the ordered part with a lead time of 3 days. If we do not have your ordered item currently in stock, selected shipping times will take effect once we have ordered and received the parts from the manufacturer.
- You can track your order through the feature on our site.
- Holidays may affect shipping times.
- In the unlikely event that a part has been placed on backorder or discontinued, we will do our best to try and find one for you as quickly as possible or contact you to void your order.
Time Sensitive Orders: If an order is time-sensitive, please contact us immediately to confirm availability and shipping options. Priority orders MUST BE PLACED BEFORE 12PM EST.
Shipping Rates
To determine an estimated shipping rate for items in your Cart:
- Select Checkout >> or Secure Checkout >
- Add your shipping zip code in the Estimated Shipping to text box and select Go
The total estimated shipping and handling cost will be listed under Subtotal Amount.
Please Note:
- Shipping rates depend on the selected shipping speed and the weight/size of the shipment.
- Over-sized orders may require an additional shipping cost on the part of the customer. You will be contacted prior to shipping for approval.
- If your order requires special shipping, we’ll contact you to review and approve your order before final processing.
- We do not ship Cash on Delivery (COD) orders.
- Shipping carrier substitutions may be made at our determination in an attempt to reduce shipping cost to the customer.
Lost or Damaged Orders
Do you think your order is missing?
- First, check your order’s shipping status:
- Get your order number found on your order confirmation email;
- Go to our Order Status page, input your email and order number, and click on your tracking number;
- On the carrier’s website, review your order’s tracking information to check its status.
- If - after checking the status of your order - you are still concerned that it may be lost, contact the carrier immediately and report your issue.
- After contacting the carrier, contact us. We can follow up with the carrier and investigate on your behalf.
Should you receive a damaged item, you must contact us immediately in order for us to contact the shipping company. It is the parcel carrier's responsibility to get the item to you undamaged.
You must retain ALL shipping packages for inspection by the shipping company. Failure to keep damaged boxes will result in any and all damage claims being denied.
