Returns Policy
You can return almost any item to Dealer Auto Parts within 30 days of purchase, depending on a few important conditions. Please follow our return procedure so we can properly assist you and determine if your item/order is eligible for return.
ALL CUSTOMERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR RETURN SHIPPING UNLESS AN ERROR IS MADE ON OUR BEHALF.
ORIGINAL SHIPPING IS NON-REFUNDABLE UNLESS AN ERROR IS MADE ON OUR BEHALF.
RETURNS MUST COME IN ORIGINAL PACKAGING WITH AN UNDAMAGED PART LABEL.
DUE TO PRICE DIFFERENCES WE CANNOT DO EXCHANGES
ALL PARTS MARKED AS ITEMS REQUIRING ORDER FROM MANUFACTURER SUBJECT TO RESTOCKING FEE OF 10-25%.
ITEMS PURCHASED WITHOUT VIN VERIFICATION MAY NOT BE SUBJECT TO RETURN.

Procedure
1. Contact Us
Reach out to us through our email [email protected] with subject line Return Request - #(ORDER NUMBER) to inform us about the circumstances of your return.
2. Receive RA#
If we determine you are eligible, we will provide you with an RA# number to confirm your return request.
If you need a label, we can create one for you with the difference in price coming out of the return.
3. Pack and Ship
Include an original copy of your invoice along with the item(s) you want to return in the original, unmarked, and undamaged packaging.
Please note that the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is due to a manufacturer defect or Dealer Auto Parts error.
4. Receive Your Refund
Once we have received your item and processed your return, you will receive a full refund of your part(s) (excluding initial and return shipping costs, if applicable) to the original method of payment used to place the order within 1-5 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once your refund has been issued.
Eligibility
New or Unused Items
- Pre-approved returns must be in their original condition - with all original components.
- The customer and/or repair shop are responsible for verifying the parts received are correct prior to painting and/or installation.
- Returned parts cannot be disassembled, painted, mounted, or damaged due to incorrect or attempted installation.
- All items must be repackaged in their original, undamaged packaging. If the original package has been damaged please reach out to our customer service representatives via email or phone to discuss the return.
- Installed, plugged in, or unsealed electrical parts or components are not refundable.
- We are not responsible for installation errors, incorrectly ordered item(s), shipping and handling charges, towing expenses, labor expenses, rental car expenses, and/or any additional repair expenses due to a part that has been installed incorrectly and/or is defective.
There may be a 10-25% restocking fee on items marked as required by order from the manufacturer. If this is the case we will inform you before the return is processed.
Core Returns
Some auto parts have a core charge applied to them that is refundable from the manufacturer. Parts that have core charges include generators, starters, catalytic converters, alloy wheels, engines, ECM/BCM modules, transmissions, transfer cases, and some diesel fuel parts like injectors.
- You are responsible for all shipping charges on core returns.
- You must include a copy of the original invoice with the part for return identification.
- The part must be clean, assembled, drained of all fluids, and not have any missing parts. It must be complete, undamaged, and placed in the original package used for the replacement part.
- We will process your return as soon as we receive it, and your core credit will be available within 15 days.

Damaged Items
Should you receive a damaged item, you must contact us immediately in order for us to contact the shipping company. It is the parcel carrier's responsibility to get the item to you undamaged. You must retain ALL shipping packages for inspection by the shipping company. Failure to keep damaged boxes will result in any and all damage claims being denied.
Non-returnable items
Some parts cannot be returned under any circumstances:
- Obsolete parts
- Discontinued parts
- Vintage parts
- Service and repair manuals
- Custom or special order products
- CD ROMs
- Auto body parts
- Any electrical part that has been plugged in, installed, or unsealed
We reserve the right to refuse and return any parts we find have been installed, are used or do not meet the above criteria.
Cancellation Policy
Your order may be cancelled at no charge up until the item has shipped. If you wish to cancel your order for any reason, please contact us as soon as possible.
Shipped Items
Unfortunately, we are unable to cancel your order once it has been labeled for shipping.
Items may, however, be returned within 30 days per the terms of our Return Policy. Please note that customers are responsible for all charges associated with the return of goods back to dealerautoparts.co, unless an error has been made by us. Additionally, some parts are charged a 10-25% restocking fee by their manufacturer or supplier. We will discuss this with you when you call to get your RA number.
Note: Please allow up to 15 business days for your return to process from receipt of the returned merchandise.
Hazmat
Please note that the sale of certain Hazmat materials E.G, Seatbelts and, Airbags products are final, and customers cannot cancel orders that have been confirmed by Dealer Auto Parts or return, exchange, or claim a refund or credit for those products, notwithstanding anything to the contrary in these Terms and Conditions.
Why was my order canceled?
Dealer Auto Parts reserves the right to cancel your order for reasons including lack of parts availability, suspected fraud, and lack of customer communication (i.e. if we have tried to contact the customer multiple times regarding an order and have received no response).
